Three years ago we were "stand-alone" freelancers, just a small function element of the complicated translation mechanism. Having united as a family we also united as business partners. As they say "four eyes see more than two". Firstly we worked as a translator and a proofreader. Then clients began to offer large projects with a lot of work to do - DTP, translation, proofreading...We needed to have support from our colleagues in order to be more attractive for our clients. We needed pros in different areas of expertise to assist us in translating the things we are not familiar with, we needed picksome and particular proofreaders to guarantee really high quality of our translations, we needed desktop publishers to make target documents look even better than source ones. 

Thus the team of Freelance Translators and Editors and DTP specialists managed by Freelance Translators and Editors came into being.

However it is not just a team.

We are the team which provides a wide range of high quality translation services for competitive rates of a freelancer.

Even though we grew in size, improved quality control of our services, and became able to provide much more than just a draft translation, we are not intended to increase our rates to the levels of translation agencies. What is more, the team is managed by a real family of translators – Oleg and Tatyana Semerikovs. This is very important.
